Concrete block foundation wall was leaking badly. Because of adjacent building, it was impossible to excavate exterior and install positive side drainage. Therefore, a negative-side system was chosen by Hoffman Construction who were the general contractor for the construction. Hoffman Construction selected the masonry contractor, Fairweather Masonry of Seattle, who had erected the foundation system. Because of the variable nature of block density and the extensive amount of water seepage, a system consisting of one coat of Xypex Concentrate and a second coat of Xypex Megamix I was selected. A Xypex technical representative was onsite to assist with the initial phases of the application.
