Scrub-coat performed first is essential in all areas to provide adhesion of Megamix II in various depths, as needed. Providing a hand-width clearance behind the rebar is necessary when filling voids properly, with the addition of crosshatching the surface for adhesion when multiple lifts are needed to fill voids.
