Sonic Sanitary Lift Station & Manholes – Arizona WWTP
The Arizona Lift Station project involved a large cast-in-place wet well and drop/ discharge precast manholes. Xypex Bio-San C500 was incorporated into all cast-in-place concrete and grout in direct or indirect contact with wastewater. Specifically the concrete of the lift station and all pipes and manholes located within 100 feet of the lift station were treated with Bio-San. Over 1,800 lbs of Bio-San was supplied for this project, utilized in 300 yd3. Xypex Admix C-1000 Red was added to all other concrete precast manholes at the time of batching at a dosage rate of 20 lbs per cubic yard to provide waterproofing and chemical protection.
